Things You Learn At Jerry's In the Morning

Just this morning, the Daily Scoop spied four gals from Newnan on their way to The Mistletoe Market in Perry.

The cute quad were all smiles as they poured their morning cup of joe at Jerry's Shell station, Griffin's morning hot spot. What's so special about the Mistletoe Market that you would drive to Perry from Newnan, we asked.  From indie crafts to custom jewelry to housewares to homemade desserts... you can expect miles and miles of eye catching vendor booths.  And we’re not talking junk either, they said.

Don't miss the kids' corner for juvi entertainment or Vince Dooley who will be on hand today (Friday) to sign autographs.  So why didn’t we hop in the car with them? It’s Thanksgiving Feast Day at First Baptist Church preschool. Priorities… priorities… but it was tempting!

The Mistletoe Market is happening this weekend at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry.

Fri. Noon - 7 p.m.; Sat. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sun. Noon - 5 p.m.

Today's Scoop is brought to you by Hatch Market 2009.  "The New Generation of Craft" is coming to Griffin, GA May 9 & 10, 2009.
