Can I subscribe to the print edition of Scoop?
Yes! Please send a check to Scoop Magazine; PO Box 1305; Griffin, GA 30224. A one-year subscription is $24. Please be sure to include which publication (Spalding & Surrounding Counties or Henry edition) you would like to receive. Or get both for $40.
I have an idea for an article in the print edition. How do I go about getting Scoop to write about my idea?
We do receive a lot of requests for articles. Unfortunately, we can only select one or two for each edition. We choose our subject matter based on what is timely and relevant. Your best bet is to "pitch" the story idea to our managing editor via email (we're a small staff, so we kindly ask that you do not call with story ideas) at jessica@readscoop.com. She will go over your request in our next editorial meeting.

What is the Daily Scoop?
The Daily Scoop is a free e-mail newsletter and web site. You'll find a new post every day that keeps you "in the know" about the goings on in your area. It's a guide to what is new, interesting and cool in Food & Dining, Home & Garden, Beauty & Fitness, Fashion & Shopping, and Events & Entertainment. You'll be the first to know about sales, specials, store openings, show dates, and more... all in your area!
How do I sign up?
You'll find a sign-up box on our home page at www.readscoop.com. Enter your email address and you'll begin receiving a daily e-mail from us. Easy!
Can I buy a story in the Daily Scoop?
Uh-uh. The only way to keep our standards high and to be sure we offer readers the very best is to say no. As with our print magazine, the Daily Scoop editorial department operates independently of our advertising department.
How do you make money?
Two ways. We sell advertisements on the site, advertisements in the emails (they appear alongside the editorial) and sponsored links. We also sell dedicated emails which are not to be confused with a regular Daily Scoop email. A dedicated email is a paid-for announcement and our readers are made aware of this fact. If I sign up, will you share or sell my email to other entities?
No way. We promise your email address will not be disclosed to any outside party.
